t J T- ""L PAGE EIGHT HEPPNER GAZETTE TIMES, HEPPNER, OREGON, THURSDAY, AUG. 12, 1937 Roy Robinson Will Show Blooded Stock A choice selection of animals from his herd of 100 registered Hereford beef cattle will be exhibited at the county fair at Rodeo time by Roy Robinson of the Camas prairie sec tion, announces Joseph Belanger fol lowing a visit to the Robinson moun tain ranch Sunday afternoon. Robinson has the largest herd of purebred beef stock in Morrow county. His exhibit at the fair last year created much interest, and news of the exhibit this year will be welcome to everyone. Plans to take exhibits to the Sherman and Grant county fairs were also told by Mr. Robinson. He has concentrated on purebred stock for several years and has built up a herd which is rapidly gaining widespread recognition. Miss Vonna Jones who had been visiting the Fred Markham family at Richland, Wn., returned home Sunday night. Earl Isom who has been quite ill is improving. Mr. Phelps was a business visitor in Portland last week. EXAMINER AT URIAH Arrangements have been made for an examiner of operators and chauffeurs to conduct a special stop at Ukiah on Monday, August 16, between the hours of 1 and 5 p. m., and applications for all types of licenses to drive motor vehicles will be accepted at that time. CRAWFORD-DUNHAM A wedding of interest to friends here occurred at Madras at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon when Miss Dorothy Jean Crawford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Crawford of Madras and teacher last year in the Lexington schools, became the bride of Dr. Clyde Dunham of Ashland. The ceremony was performed at the home of Mrs. May B. Johnson, Bap tist minister of Ashland, father of the bridegroom. Mrs. Dunham, moth er of the bridegroom, played Men delssohn's wedding march, and Miss Jeanette Turner of this city sang "Because." Miss Kathryn Parker of this city, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Dr. Wesley Noble of Vancouver, Wash., was best man.
