EDUCATOR VISITS.
Mrs. H. T. French, widow of the
late Dr. Hiram T. French, former di
rector of extension at Oregon State
college, is paying a visit to the north
west. Mrs. French has been an in
terested and successful educator in
the adult education program in Col
orado and is now a guest in Hepp
jier at Hotel Heppner, having recent
ly returned from Portland with Mrs.
H. O. Tenney, hotel hostess. Mrs.
French's stay in Heppner is indefinite.
H. A. Schultz left the first of the
week for Prineville to work for a
couple of weeks in the bakery there.
Mr. and Mrs. Guy Huston were
visitors in town Tuesday from Eight
Mile.

public auction, as provided by law, the
