Brandon home Wednesday afternoon.
Marshal Markham who is em
plowed at The Dalles spent Sunday
with his family.
The infant son of Mr and Mrs.
Chas. Acock passed away Thursday,
being one week old, and was buried
in the Irrigon cemetery Friday af
ternoon. Mrs. Roy Minnick and two chil
dren were Pendleton visitors Satur
day. Mr. and Mrs. Russell McCoy and
Miss Snow McCoy motored to The
Dalles Saturday, returning Sunday.
Their little daughter Arlene re
turned with them much improved
in health. Emmett McCoy has been
discharged from The Dalles hos
pital and is staying at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. Jay Berry. He
expects to return home by train
this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brace spent
the week end at The Dalles. Mr.
Brace is making extensive improve
ments on his yards and garden plots.
Lyle Eddy took Miss Hanson and
her typing class to Heppner Satur
day for the contest.
Robert Smith was a business vis
itor in the La Grande vicinity last
week.
R. V. Jones and Paul Gravell
dressed out their turkeys Saturday
and delivered them to the pool at
Hermiston.

Salem. (Special) Of the $7,468,-
777.90 worth of hard liquor sold by
the Oregon Liquor Control commis
sion during 1936, $25,616.05 worth
was sold through the Heppner agen
cy. The agency at Condon reported
a year's business of $21,053.10; Ar
lington, $17,521.10; Fossil, $15,708.30,
and Moro, $7,691.65. Profits of the
liquor commission from the sale of
hard liquor for the year amounted
to $1,543,063.30 while net profits
from all divisions, including li
censes of breweries, importers and
beer parlors amounted to $2,426,

adjudge reasonable as attorney's fees
herein, together with plaintiff's costs
and disbursements; that the mortgage
described in plaintiff's complaint be
foreclosed and the mortgaged premises
be sold in one parcel in the manner
prescribed by the Laws of the State of
Oregon and the practice of this Court;
that the proceeds thereof be applied
towards the payment of plaintiff's de
cree, costs and accruing costs; that at
said sale plaintiff be permitted to be
