A get-together meeting, was held
at the I. O. O. F, hall Saturday eve
ning. Several members of the Re-
bekahs and Odd Fellows from lone,
Lexington and Heppner were pres
ent. Supper was served in the sup
per hall after the meeting.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond McDonald
and Monte Ray spent the week end
in Heppner visiting friends. While
there they attended a family reunion
dinner at the home of Mrs. Corda
Saling.
, A surprise party t was given for
Dolly barrens, honoring her birth
day. Home-made candy was served
, for refreshments.
Alene Inskeep was absent from
school all of last week on account
of illness. , . '
Pat Bleakman was ill Friday and
unable to attend school.'
Charlotte ' Gallager is ill at her
home here.
Jack Devore motored to Portland
Monday. He will remain about two
weeks. Add Inskeep is staying with
his father while he is away. .
Dolly Farrens is ill at her home
here. vShe is suffering from a se
vere sore throat.
Creth Craber visited high school

Whitewash Mixtures Tried.
The Dalles Two whitewashing
demonstrations on cherry trees have
recently been established on the
farms of Fred Erickson and Darrell
Evens of Mosier by County Agent
W. Wray Lawrence, using four dif
ferent formulas. These growers are
cooperating with Mr. Lawrence in
an attempt to find an inexpensive
whitewash that will adhere to trees
throughout the winter and spring
months. Whitewashed trees are be
lieved to suffer less from winter in
jury. "
Liming Trial Established.
Hillsboro. A demonstration trial
to obtain more information on the
effect of lime on strawberry plant
ings has been established by August
Jeses in cooperation with . County
Agent W. F. Cyrus. Ground lime
stone was applied at the rates of
one, two and three tons per acre on
land that acidity tests showed had
a lime requirement in the neighbor
hood of two tons per acre.

IN THE NAME OF THE STATE OF
OREGON you are hereby required to
appear and answer the Complaint filed
against you in the above entitled Court
ana cause within lour weeks from the
date of the first publication of thin
Summons, and if you fail to appear and
answer, for want thereof, the plaintiff
will apply to the Court for the relief
demanded in his Complaint as follows,
to-wit: That the plaintiff have judg
ment againBt the defendants, E. O. Neill
and Ollie M. Neill, for $1360.00, with
interest thereon at the rate of 8 per
cent per annum from June 1, 1926, and
for the sum of $200.00, attorney's fees
and plaintiff's costs and disbursements
in this suit, and that the mortgage
described in plaintiff's Complaint be
foreclosed and the mortgaged premises
be sola in tne manner provided by the
Laws of the State of Oregon and the
practice of this Court. That the pro
ceeds thereof be applied towards the
payment of plaintiff s decree, costs and
accruing costs of sale. That at said
sale plaintiff be permitted to become
the purchaser and that the defendants
above named and each and all of them
be foreclosed and barred of all right
title, claim or interest in the premises
described in the plaintiff's mortgage,
except the right of redemption allowed
by law, and that the plaintiff have such
other and further relief as to the Court
may seem equitable. -
That the lands covered by the said
mortgage which will be sold under
foreclosure are as follows, to-wit:

Thirty, Township One North, Range
Twenty-eight East of Willamette
Meridian,
This Summons is Berved upon you by
publication thereof for four consecutive
weeks in the Heppner Gazette Times by
order of the Honorable Wm. T. Camp
bell, Judge of the County Court for
Morrow County, State of Oregon, which
said Order was entered the 12th day of
November, 1936, and the date of the
first publication of this Summons ia
the 12th day of November, 1936.
