Heavy increase in ad vance registration of graduate stu dents and of students transferring from other institutions is noted in the general increase in applications to attend Oregon State college this fall. De Martin. Mr. DeMartin took less than a pound of the poison barley with him as he went after the cows one evening and distributed it near the trail as he went. Returning in less than an hour he counted 18 dead squirrels.
