PAGE SIX HEPPNER GAZETTE TIMES, HEPPNER, OREGON, THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 1929. SCHOOL BALL SEASON OPENS. Heppner high school will open the baseball season tomorrow afternoon when the local team meets the lone boys on the local field. Just how strong a showing the boys will make is a matter of conjecture, says Coach Poulson, as the cold weather has interfered considerably with practice. The return of many of last year's regulars, who helped win the Upper Columbia league pennant, however, assures the plac ing of a good team on the field.
