Court met in regular session ' on
October fi, 1927, at Heppner, Oregon,
with all officers present when among
others the following proceedings were
had, to-wit:
The following were appointed as a
budget committee to meet with the
court on November 8, 1927, to adopt
a budget for 1927, R. I. Thompson, L.
Redding, H, V. Smouse and L. D.
Neill.
The following amounts were or
dered transferred, $20,000 from the
Bond fund to the Lexington-Jarmon
Bond fund, $13,000 from the Bond
fund to the Rhea Creek-Blackhorse
Market fund, and $5000 from the Mo
tor Vehicle fund to the General fund.
Mabel Howell was allowed the sum
of $25.00 per month for the care and
keep of Mr. Craddick, the sum of
$20.00 being heretofore allowed.
John Her was appointed as viewer
. with A. A. McCabe and W. L. Mc
Caleb as Roadmaster was appointed
to view and survey the proposed road
vacations of J. H. Padberg and Oct.
11, 1927, was set as the date for mak
ing the same.
The road petitions of R. A. Far
rens, F. S. Barlow, Jen Jones and R.
V. Jones were accepted and approved
and roads ordered opened after the
statutory period.

Court House in Heppner, Oregon, on
Wednesday, the 2nd day of Novem
ber, 1927, with all officers present,
when among others the following pro
ceedings were had, to-wit:
Court made an order refunding
taxes on lands owned by the State
Land Board.
The budget for the coming year
was made by the Court with the help
of the Budget Committee of R. I.
Thompson, L. D. Neill and H. V.
Smouse.
One petition of J. H. Padberg et al
was approved and one denied for the
vacation of certain roads leading
from the head of Cason Canyon
southeasterly into Rhea creek.
Court ordered $1600 transferred
into the Willow Creek Bond fund
from the Road Bond fund for the im
provement of upper Willow creek.
The following bills were approved
