Who's Who in Oregon to Be Published This Year Who'i Who In Oregon, a biograph ical directory containing data relat ing to prominent people of this state, is in course of publication by The Morning Enterprise, Oregon City. The publisher state: "There is no directory of this nature extant in Oregon. The publication will em brace dignified facts, clear informa tion and a digest of biographical fea tures of interest .... no charge will be made for insertion and the work will contain no advertising." Who's Who In Oregon will contain data concerning leading federal, state, county and city officials, educators, professional people, industrial heads, leaders of commerce and other of outstanding attainment. It is fur ther announced the directory will be strictly selective and exclusive and money will not buy a place in its pages, unless the subject comes with in the category of its requirement. The Who's Who In Oregon will be completed toward the end of the year. PINE CITY CARNIVAL. Practising has begun on the Hal lowe'en carnival to be given Friday, October 28, at Pine City school.
