will plant this week 50 or 00 acres to
corn. Tha soil and climate of Lower
Batter creek I adapted to the growth of
thi cereal, which is one of the more
profitable crop grown in that section.
J. W. Beckett, who was In from Eight

farmer in his section were yet seeding
grain, principally rye
for wheat sowing, but the fanners are
