Saturday, May 2IUI. was ronclaimcd Poppy Day In a
proclamation issued Thursday by Mayor John P. Louy. The
proclamation urges all citizens of the city to observe the
day bo wearing an American Legion and Auxiliary popy as
an individual tribute to the American men and women
who gave their lives in t! e World War. It also call.; upon
the citizens of the city to contribute as liberally as their
means will allow to the welfaree ot the disabled veterans
and deyendent families of the dead anddisabled when pur
chasing their poppy. The proclamation follows:
