baatern Star, died suddenly at
her heme near Greshaui, Monday,
from a heart attack.
JMrs. Horning had gone into a
field, neas ber home, where ber
hnsband, C. O. Horning, wss
working, when she was stricken
Death was Immediate.
Mrs. Horning was born at Bel-
mond. Iowa, August 27. 1873.
She came to Oregon more than
30 years ago. She is survived by
two nrothers, both of Portland.
H. V. and B. J. Rand, and two
sisters, Mrs. Lucy Harbison of
Morgan, Ore., and Mrs. Clellur.il
of Portland. She is also survived
by her three children, Lowell R.
Horning, of Portland: Elizabeth
Horning of Gresham and Mr. D.
George, of Denver, Colorado.
funeral services were held on

Memorial Park.
