she entered a hospital to receive
medical treatment.
A little daughter, Joy Pauline,
waa born to Mr. and Mra. Fred
Ritchie, Tuesday, July 23. The
babe only lived an hour and a
half. She waa laid to rest in the
I. O. O. F. cemetery in lone.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ross, Mr.
aad Mr. Dick Sperry. Mrs. Chus.
Ritchie and Arthur Ritchie, all
of Heppner, were Friday even
in guests in the Fred Ritchie
borne.
Mr. and Mrs. C. L Dewey and
laughter, Mary, departed Mon
day, for their home at Lucky
Luke, Sask.. Canada, after a
pleasant four weeka viait in the
Clarence Warren home in Dry
Fork. Mr. and Mra. Dewey are
Mra. Warren'a grandparents.
They are travelidg by auto and
viaited hero on their way home
from a trip to California.

very enjoyable affair. Five losds
of the church people motored to
the pleasant camping grounds on
Ditch Creek. Thiy took with them
well filled lunch baskets and plen
ty of ice cream.

A party of thirty five Ladies
gathered at the home of Mrs.
Henry Kreba at Cecil on last Fri
