man year. Of the freshman class
of nearly 1500 students 57 were
awarded recognition for' excep
tional scholarship by the na'ion
al all- college scholastic honorary
fraternUy, Phi Kappa Phi To
earn certificate an average
grade of at least 91 be maintained
and a total of 45 credit of college
work completed without failure
in any subject.
