VOTERS MUST REGISTER
The question of registration of
voters is again arousing interest.
I have lieen HsLed why a vour
cannot be sworn in on election'
day. The answer is this: At the'
special election held on the 28th
day of June, 1927, the people a
mended the state constitution so
av to provide that a voter mutt
he registered before election .my
or he cannot vote. Hence before
the books close, a voter must
reister if not already registered.
The registration book? are now
open. They !'l close on the Ch
day of OcUVr If a v.tr I
