Passes Away at His Home
Sunday Evening
Johannes Troedson, for 38
year resident of Morrow Co.,
died at hia home in lone Sunday
afternoon. The immediate cauRe
of hie death waa an appoplectic
atrokebut he had been inffering

Ity due to old age.The stroke oc-'
curred in the morning and death
followed at about 5:00 o'clock in
the afternoon,
Mr. Troedeon waa born in the
town of Skane, Sweden, April 6,
1853 He came to America in
1874 end for some years maie
his home in California.
He was mariied in San Fran
Cisco, January 19. 1884. to Mrs.
Christine Carlson. To this union
there were born three children:
AnneC, Clara S. and Carl F.
He came In October 1889 to
Morrow County where he has re
sided to the day of hia death,
Od der 23, 1927.
He left to mourn his Inns, his
wife, one dauabter, AnneC; two
sons; Carl F. Troedson, of lone,
and J. A. Carlson, of Kin City,
Cel.; one brother, PauITroedson
of Gladstone. 0 ejon.
The funeral eervke waa held
from the Congregational church
in lone, the Hev. C. G. Blomquist(
of Portland officiating, and in
terment waa made In lone ceme
tery. Frienda and relatives frwnj
far and near fi led thecnurcn
and brought a, wealth of floral
offerings.
