THE HONOR ROLL
In the honor roll for the past
six weeks the Sophomores take
the lead, as usual Janet Carlson
heads the list, but this time Jan
et surpassed all previous records,
as she earned six As, four in reg
ular school subjects, one In mus
ic and one in deportment. ,
Kathryn Feldman takes second
place with four As and two Bs,
while Mildred Smith
holds her
e
old place ar third.
Kenetb Smouse who tied with
Edith Ely for fourth place, is the
only boy in the group. We are
glad tht re is at least one to up
hold the masculine reputation.
Arleta Farrens won fifth place.
This makes a total three Sopho
mores, two Freshmen and one
Junior. Where, oh where are our
wise Seniors?
"THE KID PARTY" ,.
Friday evening, April 8, the up
per classmen were entertained by
the Freshmen at a "Kid Party"
in the gym. -
The costumes of more youthful
days setmed to help everyone to
enter into the spirit of the party.
Kid games of every variety,
Blickman, London Bridge and
othera were played with great
xest.
Arleta Farrees and Gene En-
gelman won the prizes for the
best pressed boy and girl.
After ao much strenuoua exer
cise the lunch of sandwiches, ice
cream, lemonade and wafers was
much appreciated.
Everyone pronounced the Frtsh
men excellent entertainers.
