Mr. A. W. Lundell, of Astoria,
is in lone this week visiting his
mother. Mr. Lundell is conduct
ing two bands at Astoria.
Wednesday of this week, the
original and only "Dad" Griffin
cook his departure for Maupin
and the trout haunts of the Des
chutes. He was accompanied by
George Ritchie.
The Baptist Ladies' Aid will
hold food and fancy work sale

urday to meet the local bace ball
twirlers only to take home the
email end of the 16 to 13 score.
The Heppner team had an
extra strong outfield which stop
ped Ione's hard hitts.
