(Special) -Three educational leaders of national reputation will appear on the program of the Oregon State Teacher's Association, at the annual meeting in Portland, on December 29 30 31. They are: Mrs. Olive M. Jones of the ele mentary schools of New York, president of the National Edu cational Association for the year 1923 24; President Thomas W. Butcher of the Kansas state teachers college, Emporia, Kan sas, and Miss Mabel Carney, specialist in rural education at Teachera College, Columbia Uni versity. There will be no general pro gram on Monday, Decemoer 29, af the opening day ia always giveujover to the deliberations of the representative council. He ports of standing committees will be heard, and all business of the association will be transacted on that day.
