scoffs at the skimmed milk. These
people want to use the roads built
by the people and for the people, but
they show little wllllUKiieu to bear
their share of the expense of keeping
the rouds open for traffic.

plain bitterly because the country is
slow to open the roads for them.
They lire insistent In their demand!
that the money of Kenosha county
be expended ill order that compan

taxes in Kenosha county, be spent to
open up the roads that they may
upernV a profitable business.
The whole situation, again, sug
gests the need of better regulation
of truck traffic on the roads. These
companies should be adequately taxed
so that out of the taxes could be tak
en a reasonably large amount for the
clearing of roads of snow as well in
tin amount which may be necessary
for other upkeep of the roads.
Shippers who use these trucks for
their business should see the danger
of tuking business away from com
panies which render service tn fair
weather and stormy weather to give
it to road parasites that lay down on
the Job Just the minute there li a
little grtef to be home. The com
panies which make it their business
to battle (now storms tn Veep trans
portation moving are the coiupsnles
entitled to the buslnejs of men who
want to build up the right kind of
trantwportatlon facilities.
