BERT MASON IONE OREGON MMH All-Day Meeting At Christian Church Big Success The all-day meeting held her last Sunday at the Christian church was well attended. The bible school met at 10 o'clock wich an attendance of 75; a short East er exercise, communion service nd preactiing in the forenoon. Then dinner was served in the basement of the church, provided for by the ladies and friends of the church. About 150 people en- joyed this fellowship and good time together, then at 2:dU p. m. another preaching service by Paul De F. Mortimore, which all enjoyed and the remarks were that it was the "best sermon ever." ! Supper was served in the church at 5:30 and at 6:30 the Christian Endeavor meeting was called. Miss Anna Tillson and Miss Hazel Akers had charge of this service. Preaching again was held at 7:30. At nine o'clock everyone went home feeling they had had a full and profitable day. The church is planning about the same program for next Sunday. Ball Player Mashes Finger Werner Rietman, 3rd baseman, had the misfortune Monday of having the middle finger of his right hand badly mashed in the gear of a pump jack.
