master of ceremoniea. Helen Chaffee waa
elected to the honor of May Queen and the

aafely say without turning her head that
the made a beautiful queen in her robes
of slate. Her train was carried by two
pacrea. Violet Giihreth and Blanche Imtt
were her natd of honor and Maxeoe Bal

tiny flower girl, and Junior Davis carried
her crown.
The aenior maypole dance followed and I
tt wax beautifully done. Augusta Huckin '
of The Daiie gave the firefly dance and
waa a veritable little fairy in her red cos
tume. The "Poaey Bed" wa then given
and it would have done credit to a city
ebool. and showed the result of splendid
training the pusy willow, the daffodils,
dandelions, crocus, dabias. violets, aun
flower and poppy ladies all having won
derfully beautiful costumes and looking so
much like the flowers they represented.
