John Padbtrg- and wife who were
in tuwn Saturday from their farm
out north of Lexington, are quite
exhilcrated over crop prospects in
their district. John reports that the
wheat outlook in better than he has
ever seen it at thin time of year.
Robert Young and wife, accompan
ied by his brother-in-law, Mr. Anh
barne and wife, were week-end visit
ors in the city from Yakima. Mr.
Ashburne is city treasurer of Yak
ima, and Mr. Young is traveling sales
man for a Yakima firm.
E. J. Starkty and wife returned
from an automobile trip to Medford
Monday night. They were called to
the southern Oregon city the last of
the week on account of the serious
illness of Mrs. Starkey's mother.
