The varied styles this spring de
mand the Deltor service other
patterns fail to give you
mm
From castume suit to
evening frocks you can
make clothes you will
love to wear
ilHINK of being able to
make yourself one of the
new three-piece costumes
Paris and New York are
wearing this Spring!
You can so successfully
that they might have come from a Fifth
Avenue shop. The whole thing is per
fectly simple to you with the detailed
guidance the Deltor gives you.
First the Deltor shows you exactly
how to cut out your costume from a
minimum of material and still have the
circular movement or fashionable drap
ery cut on a certain grain of the goods
to hang correctly.
The Deltor cutting layouts absolute
ly safeguard you against wasting your
expensive material. They are not gen
erallike those of other patterns they
are made to meet your individual needs.
When you come to put your dress or
costume together you know exactly
what to do and when and how to do it.
Every necessary step is there before
you in pictures something that other
patterns do not give you.
You might easily shop and shop for
some of the season's new trimmings and
even for ten or fifteen dollars not find
what your dress demands. The Deltor
shows you how to make these new trim
mings as they are made in Paris and for
a trifling cost. Ornaments, plaques, ro
settes, tubing trimmings you give
your frock these touches that distin
guish imported clothes at a negligible
expense.
Between the results of the scanty
general instructions you find on most
patterns and the Deltor's unique indi
vidual guidance in pictures on every
step of the making and finishing your
dress, may lie the difference between a
frankly home-made dress and one that
all your friends will envy. Butterick

Methusaleh Says:
ONSIDER the squirrel, Ohy my son,
and be wise. For when the sun shines,
then doth he gather the fruit of the
nut trees. But when the trees cease
to bear fruit and snow covers the ground, then
doth the squirrel feast on the nuts he hath stor
ed against the cold days.
If thou would be wise and farseeing, get thy
self a Bank Book and use it frequently. Be pre
pared for the Rainy Day; for when it rains it
doth pour. But thy Bank Book will protect thee
and thou will be blest amongst men.
