IF YOU have a dollar and you take
off ten per cent you have ninetv
cents left. If you put ten per cent
back again, however, you haven't got
your dollar back again. You've got
ninety-nine cents. One cent has van
ished in the operation of tearing
down and building up. You can bank
on it whenever you begin to monkey
wun sometning one hundred per cent
strong you're going to suffer some
how. It's all very welt to tear down
before you build up, but it's best to
be sure that the thing you attack can
be improved. Tearing down before
the plan of rebuilding is well in mind
is a risky business. Watch your step.
Better keep on building. The useless
things wither away of their own account.

ROBBERS!!
Robbers do not disturb people who have nothing.
A man with a thousand dollars in the bank and
only a check book in his pocket has nothing for
robbers to take ; yet his check is as good as the
money which his neighbor carries in his pocket.
It is not safe to carry money on your person
when among strangers. Neither is money safe
in the house. Money in the bank is safe and is
always available by means of a check book. And
this assurance of safety costs you nothing.
We invite you to place your money with us on
checking account. We offer a safe and conven
ient place of deposit.
