MERCHANT: The tide has turned. Prosperity is here. Country America has money, and that money is gonig to be spent with the mer chants who go after it with the merchants who advertise. Here is the proof. It is from a report of Eugene Meyer, Director of the U. S. War Finance Corp., issued August 3. From July 16 to July 31, 1922, Agricul ture, Livestock and Cooperative Marketing Assn's.- REPAID loans totaling $4,939,392. In the same period, from widely separa ted districts, the board was only asked to advance $1,817,000 a clear gain of over three million dollars in two weeks. That means that country America has money. It has quit borrowing. It is paying its debts. Country America has repaid $105,840,920 agricultural loans within the last seven months. Country America needs more clothing, buildings, machinery and supplies right now, than at any time since hectic war pros perity days. When country America has money, Mr. Merchant, it spends it. You can get your share if you are awake and go after it through the advertising columns of your home-town newspaper.
