There are a number of Eastern Ore

It is hoped to have a meeting of the

Congressmen Unite for Agri
culture Congressmen are uniting here in
Washington in behalf of agriculture. An
organization has crystallized from a
group in each house of congress which
will act as a center and rallying point
on all matters of agricultural legisla
tion. Several senators took it upon
themselves to get together a group of
stauneh agricultural supporters and
hold an informal meeting at Farm Bu
reau headquarters. A few nights later
several representatives carried out the
same plan. With the sentiment now
prevailing in Congress, it is believed
that it will only be a matter of time
until a well defined agricultural group
will be known and recognised In both
houses and will stand solidly for merit
orious agricultural measures, regard
less of political lines or affiliations. This

side. Mrs. James, has been living at
Venice, Calif., for the past few years
and cared for by her daughter, and they
have just recently returned to Fortland.
Mrs. Howard James will Join her hus

Nannette saw the violator creeping towards her, leering,
crafty, powerful. At her call a door crashed in and the
cabin thundered with the roar of fight as Neewa, the bear,
and Brimstone, the dog, plunged to the aid of the girl and
the man went down beneath the ripping, rending, twisting,
crunching fury of their jaws!
