HOW TO GET THAT WHEAT
TO MARKET?
A question that has been on the mind of more than one
fanner the past few weeks. Scarcity of transportation
facilities makes the problem a difficult one except that
fanner can buy a good truck and save enough on the sea
son's hauling tit pay for that truck.
When we say "a good truck" we mean the U. S., one of
the five standard trucks on the market today. .

Artcraft ttar.
It li really only few years ago that Miai Hwanton was hereell
playing with dolU. and the simply cannot pass toy shop without
buying at least a doll or two. or fussy teddy bear.
Of course she bss had to stand much good-nttured teasing on
tne part of her friends, and Indeed, as her toy collection grew and
grew MIbs Swanson herself began to wonder what sbe should ever
do with It, for she bad already given to every one ot her small rela
tives all the toys they could possibly play with, and more too.
'A casual letter from school friend, now nurse In child
ren's hospital, gave Gloria the great Idea, and now she's bidding
good-bye to her little toy friends, one by one, and packing them
way in a big bos, She hopes to be able to visit her friend at Christ
mas and appear In person as young Miss Santa Claus, but In any
vent the toys will be there to make the kiddle happy In their day
of days. " " ' " .' " "
