Fatal Auto Accident.
Dr. Hoisington, Pendleton physi
cian, and owner of the Hoisineton
ranch out in Columbia District, and
John F. Robinson, proprietor of the
Domestic Laundry in Pendleton, were
almost instantly killed Wednesday
evening, and Frank Sailing, former
county clerk, was badly iniured
when the automobile which the lat
ter was driving was struck by an in
coming Walla Walla train at the
grade crossing at Saxe station, four
miles east of Pendleton.

Moves In Early.
Winter records were broken here
this week when ice formed and snow
