Notice is hereby given to the legal
voters of. School District No. 1 . of
Morrow County, State of Oregon, that
an election will be held in said Dis
trict at Council Room on the
Twentieth day of June, 1919, at
2 :30 o'clock In the afternoon, to vote
on the question of increasing the
amount of the tax levy in said Dis
trict for the year 1919, by more
than six per cent over the amount of
such levy for the year immediately
preceding.
It is necessary to raise this ad
ditional amount by special levy for
the'followlng reasons:
The general war-time Increase in
all supplies and especially the large
per cent of Increase in .the salary
schedule for teachers, and other em
ployees of tho school.
