up artist ranks among the best of
platform entertainers. His sketches
are new and original. With Mrs.
Waters he will do some whistling
duets, and the company will give a
little dramatic play whenever de
sired. Their dramatic work is es
pecially good, as Mrs. Waters, has
had several years' experience in
stock companies. Her child imper
sonations are clever indeed.

At the Fair pavilion on Thursday
evening a dance was given and a
good time enjoyed by the large
crowd in attendance. This was the
first ball of the season,' music of a
high order being furnished by Le
Roy's Jazz band from Portland.
Mr.. and Mrs., Roy Campbell of
Lexington visited at the home of
