returned Sunday from an extensive
trip through the Middle West and
Southern California, i The prime ob
ject of Mr. Anderson's trip was a vis
it to his parents in Aberdeen, Soutli
Dakota, who he found to be in good
health. He went as far east as Chi
cago and returned home over the
Union Pacific, visiting In the cities of
Salt Lake, Los Angeles and San Fran
cisco. He reports a most enjoyable
trip.
County Clerk Waters Issued a mar
riage license this week to Ivar Nelson
of Gooseberry and Miss Lulu Maxwell
of Irrigon. Mr. Nelson is a. young
farmer of the Gooseberry country,
living on what is known as the T. W.
Morgan place, and his bride has been
leaching school in this county the
past few years.
