der of sale duly issued by the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of the State of Ore
gon for Morrow County, dated the 7th
day of August, 1917, in a certain
suit in the said Circuit Court, where
in C. W. Oathout as plaintiff, re
covered judgment against Margret H.
Ketch and Amos R. Ketch for the
sum of Sixteen Hundred and Fifty
and no-100 Dollars, with interest
thereon at the rate of Seven per cent
per annum from June 12th, 1915,
and the further sum of $200.00 at
torneys' fees and costs and disburse
ments taxed and allowed at Nineteen
and 40-100 Dollars, on the 4th day
of August, 1917.

at 2 o'clock P. M. of said day, at the

Heppner, Morrow County, Oregon,
sell at Public Auction to the highest
bidder for cash in hand, the following

One of the fine new residences to
be completed in Heppner about the
first of October is the five-room house
on Center street, which is being built
by Mike Kenny. Mr. Kenny is build
iiig the house to relieve the situation
!n Heppner to some extent as regards
houses for rent. He has already
rented the property to Mike Curran
and family. The house will be mod
em in every respect and a credit to
Heppner.
G. E. Jones, Grant county fanner
and stockman, spent a few days in
Heppner the first of the week on busi
ness. Mr. Jones says the hay crop
was light in his country this season,
but there will be plenty of feed for
stock, In his opinion.
Charley Burchell and family of
Lexington were Monday visitors in
Heppner. Mr. Burchell has finished
his threshing and his grain made him
better than 17 bushels to the acre, a
pleasant fact to be announced when
lie was not expecting to get much bet
ter than an average yield of 10 bush
els to the acre.
A. C. Allison aud wife of Echo
spent the week-end in Heppner.
