was expected in the earlier part of

Hospital Notes.
Mrs. Will Culick of little Butter
creek underwent an operation at the
Heppner Sanatorium Tuesday and
her condition at this time is said to
be favorable.
Eleanor Cohn, the young daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Phill Cohn, was op
erated on at the Heppner Sanatorium
Wednesday.
The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee
Slocum of Slocum's Mill, underwent
a minor operation at the local sana
torium Wednesday.
Miss Stella Penland entered the
hospital today to undergo medical
and surgical treatment.
Miss Loye DeVore, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack DeVore, underwent
an operation last week for the re
moval of her tonsils. Dr. H. T. Alli
son performed the operation. i
Winnifred, little daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Jas. Thomson, underwent an
operation last week for adnoids. Dr.
Allison was in charge of the case.
Miss Muriel McCarty, youngest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Mc
Carty, underwent an operation at the
Heppner Sanatorium for appendicitis.
Her condition at the present time, ac
cording to her physician, Dr. H. T.
Allison, is favorable to an early re
covery. Mrs. Phill Jones is slowly recov
ering from the effects of an operation
perofrmed Saturday last by Dr. Win
nard. Mrs. Jones has been sick for
a long time and the operation was
performed as a last resort. The op
eration was very successful and Mrs.
Jones is now getting along well.
