Strong Outlook for Wool.
That the outlook for wool at the
present time, with every indication of
a higher price, is indicated by a tele
gram received this week from the Co
lumbia Wool Basin & Warehouse Co.
of Portland by the First National
Bank. The telegram reads as fol
lows:
"Advise all growers that wool mar
ket is turning very active on every
thing above quarter bloods. Deep
staple fine wools worth now dollar
and forty cents, half blood, dollar
thirty to thirty-five; three eights, dol
lar twenty, quarter blood, dollar five.
Good fine French probability of dol
lar thirty to thirty-five. Low wools
not moving. Barring some sudden
peace, wool looks to be In very strong
position."
