NOTICE is hereby given that, as
directed by the Commissioner of the
General Land office, under provisions
of Sec. 2455, R. S., pursuant to the
application of Eva. A. Crawford,
Serial No. 015222, we will offer at
public sale, to the highest bidder,
but at not less than 2.50 per acre
at 9:30 o'clock a. m., on the 15th
day of February, next, at this office,
the following tract of land: SSW
NW4 SW, Section 4, Township
5, South Range 24, East, W. M.
(Containing 120 Acres.)
The sale will not be kept open,
but will be declared closed when

mortgage foreclosure on the 19th of
Ausgust, 1916, in a suit in the Circuit
Court of the State of Oregon for the
County of Morrow, wherein Thomas
Quaid was plaintiff and C. T. Grot-
kopp was defendant.
The amount against the second des
cribed parcel of land is $3278.50 with
interest at the rate of 10 per cent per
annum from the 26th day of Febru
ary, 1916. Said land was sold under
mortgage foreclosure on the 26th daj
of February, 1916, in a suit in the
Circuit Court of the State of Oregon
for Morrow County, wherein J. C.
Kirk was plaintiff and Emil C. T.
Grotkopp was defendant.

1914, by the tax collector of Mor

amount of $68.35, same being the

lows, to-wit: Commencing at a point
92 feet North of the NW corner of
Lot 4 of Block 1, Ayers Fourth Ad
dition to the Town of Heppner, Mor
row County, Oregon, running thence
North 56 feet, thence East 276 feet,
thence in a southeasterly direction
65 feet more or less to the North line
of a tract of land previously sold to
William Ayers by said T. W. Ayers

That plaintiff is also the owner and
holder of Certificate of Delinquency
No. 330 issued on the 24th day of
February, 1915 by the Tax Collector
of Morrow County, Oregon, for the
amount of $145.05, being the amount
then due and delinquent for taxes
for the year 1912, together with pen
alty, interest and costs thereon upon
the real property hereinbefore des
cribed. You are further notified that said
Ada M. Ayers, plaintiff has paid tax
