cal power company secured contracts
for 315 horsepower in motors from
various local industries. Plans are
being made to open a new shingle
mill and lumber mill and several
small coal mines in the vicinity are
getting ready to use electrical power.

Just returned last week from a visit
to Portland. While in that city Mr.
Boach signed the agency for the Dort
car which will be handled by this firm
during the coming season.
After looking the market over care
fully, Mr. Beach became convinced
that the Dort gave more real value
for the money than any car of its
class. This car Is a small, light
weight, sturdy-built car with the easi
est riding qualities of any automobile
of its size.
While it has not been long in the
West, It has a wonderful reputa
tion for durability and stay-on-the-
road qualities from the East and
South where it has been running for
some three years. Its performance
in and about Portland satisfied Mr.
