Mrs. I. N. Prater, mother of Mrs.
Geary Taylor, Wednesday underwent
an operation at St. Anthony's hos
pital and it is reported that it was a

L. K. Harlan passed through Echo
from Heppner Wednesday. He stated
that he has sold his interest in the

Miss Beulah Barker, formerly of
Heppner, has been retained as teach
er In the Echo schools for another
year.
