Little Tots Will Perform.
Next Thursday evening, May 14,
will be children's night at the High
School auditorium, when the little
folks of the primary and second
grades will perform for the public.
In the primary room, Miss Power
has drilled her young hopefuls to the
point of near perfection in the juv
enile playlet entitled "Fairyland".
Not to be outdone by the "freshies"
the pupils of the second grade, un
der the direction of Miss Ames, will
present "Hansel and Gretchel". It
has not been stated whether this
will be given in German or English,
the name soiids suspicious, put prob
ably on account of the more or less
Anglo-Saxon audience it will be given
the English enunciation. To be
brief, the public is cordially invited
to attend and applaud the little tots
In their efforts to entertain. The
performance begins at 7:30 sharp.
When the registration books close
Friday, April 30, for the Primary el
ection, May 15, a summary of those
registered t'isclosed the fact that
only 510 women had placed their
names with the county clork. The
men outnumber them two to one.
The fact that all of Morrow county's
newly enfranchised citizens have not
realized their full responsibilities,
is no doubt responsible to a large
extent for the sltort registration.
Here is given a full summary of
