Mr. Avers and wife went to Hepp
ner this morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Roberts have
gyie to the John Day country for a
few days.
Miss Grace Crcwdson goes to Reid's
mill todiiy to help do the cocking for
the mill hands.
L. E. Hogeland has moved cairp
over to the Stacy Roberts plye where
he will cut one hundred cords of wood.
Mr. Walter Drumm had a runaway
last week. You must hold to the
ribbons, Welt, when you start the
old gray mare.
Mrs. C M. Hogeland is prepaiina
to start her incubator in a few days.
She will soon be headquarters for
tuft" Orphirgtons.
The winterprain that is out of the
sro looks fine in this neck o' the
woods. There is snow to the depth of
two and a half feet on the north
hillsides yet.
We notice that some one has stolen
the heading of the Parker Mill re
porter to attach to bis cow advertise
ments and other nefarious ads that
be dare not stand behind.
We notice there Is a land slide in
the county road in District No. 6,
about one hundred yards on the breast
and one hundred feet up the hill, to
the depth of rfom three to five feet.
