Campbell yesterday on the proposi
tion of building a macadam grade
from town to the cemetery, his plan
being for the county, the city and
citizens to co-opera'. e in the work.
Judge Campbell estimated, roughly,
that It would require about 1,000
yards of crushed rock to complete
the job at a cost of around $2 500.00.
The grading would be an inexpensive
job it is believed.

with Mrs. H. V. Tyler at Rhea Siding
on Wednesday.
Harmon Montgomery has returned
to his ranch near Rhea Siding and
will once more take up farming.
We were glad to see such a large
number out on Sunday evening to
hear Archdeacon Goldie's service in
the hall. Between lifvy and sixty
were present. We were pleased to
see so many present from the Mor
gan district. Arcuueacon i.oiuie was
the guest of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Lowe
during his stay in Cecil.
Bob Thompson of Heppner again
made a rushing trio to The Shep
herd's Rest on Wednesday. He had
a look around to make another cap
ture of an old man for his home in
H,eppner, but R. A. left alone. Not
one was to be found.
M. J. Morrow of The Pendleton
Marble Works was calling in the Ce
cil district on Friday.

local engine on Tuesday afternoon
