By virtue of an execution and Or
der of Sale duly issued by the Cir
cuit Court of the County of Morrow
State of Oregon, dated the 5th day
of April, 1923, in a certain cause
me circuit court for said county
and state, wherein Stanfield Live
stock Feeder Co., a corporation, as
plaintiff recovered judgment against
John Mollahan and Pat Mollahan
defendants, for the sum of $17021.8
with interest thereon at the rate of
eight per cent per annum from the
15th day of October, 1919: for the
further sum of $1400.00 attorneys

ribbons. They are worked over and
molded and planned so that their
colors verge Into each other with dis

and the sashes and sash ends that go
with them, are very important In the
scheme of the modern dress. Some
times the sash will be the only dis
tinguishing feature. It may look plain
and simple In color and design, but
further examination will show lining
and edgings and trimmings altogether
charming. Even the street frock will
have Its sash or Its girdle tbat shows
color and design and charm.

gave the alunn when the sulphur cargo
of the ship caught fire many miles
out at seu. Mine. Allahlaba was giiHsed
during the fire and was treated at a
hospital In Kan Francisco on the ship's
arrival. She Is a native of the Hima
layas and the ship a mascot.
Early Canadian Insurrection.
In the latter part of 1837 there was
an Insurrection In Canada. A portion
of the people, dissatisfied with the
British government, broke out In re
volt, and attempted to establish their
Independence.
The Insurgents found much sympa
thy and encouragement in the United
States. Seven hundred men from New
York selr.ed and fortified Navy island.
In the Niagara river. The loyalists of
Canada attempted to capture the place,
but failed. They succeeded, however,
In firing the Caroline, the supply ship
of the adventurers, cut her moorings
and sent the burning vessel over Ni
agara falls.
President Van Buren issued a proc
lamation of neutrality, forbidding In
terference with the affairs of Canada.
The New York lnsurgt-iits on Navy
Island were obliged to surrender, and
order was restored.
