erson and Oscar Keithly of Eightmile
Ray Wright and Ed. Rugg of Rhea
Creek; Anson Wright of Hardman;
Charley Hemrich of Sandhollow; C.
C. Morey of Alpine; Bill Mahrt of
Gooseberry; and Ed. Neil of Butter
Creek.
The committee organized with J.
O. Kincaid chairman and Ed. Rugg,
Secretary.
This organization will plan to func
tion thru local committees of farmers
and stockmen who will pass on loans
and handle the affairs of the organ
ization locally. The affairs of this
Association will from now on be hand
led thru this temporary organization
until membership is established and
permanent organization is effected in
Morrow County.

pointment came, ami this month he
had already caught 2T coyotes. He
has now picked up his traps, and is
aii his way to his nsw job.
"BoIIiver" is entering on a long
vacation. BoIIiver is the faithful
bay horse that has carried the trap
per over the hills for six years. Mr.
Dobyns says he has ridden BoIIiver
enough mileage during the last six
years to take him three times around
the world. BoIIiver is not. for
sale, the trapper says; he will be
turned out and will spend the rest of
his days as anidler in groin pas
tures. Mr. Dobyns says he isn't sure I ha!
he will like the speech-making pari
of his new jb, but adds with hit
characteristic smile that he is going
to do his best.
Mr.. Dobyns reports that there is
very little snow in the mountains
now. He says deer tracks are rather
numerous in places along Meadow

The Woman's Welfare club at their
last session consideded the planting
of trees along the highway coming
into town from Dukek residence. The
civics committee reported Norway
maples had been ordered from the
nursery and would arrive soon and
be planted immeditely, giving the
trees a chance to start growing be
fore the cold weather. The next
meeting of the club will be November
9th at which Mrs. Zeiger, Mrs. Trill
and Mrs. Metteer will be' hostesses.
Members are asked to bring sewing,
fancy work, etc., as there will be con
siderable outside work to be done.

Harold Dobyns, popular trapper of
perdatory animals in "the county has
received an appointment as assistant
predatory animal inspector, and is
leaving for Portland to confer with
Stanley Jewett who is head of the
work in this section. Mr. Dobyns will
be in Foitland until December 7, and
will then go to Olympia, Wash. In.
