Heppner high school last Thursday
evening at a dinner party in the
lodge quarter in the Odd Fellows
building. A splendid menu was
provided and a most enjoyable even
ing was spent. Elmer Peterson,
president of the student body, ox
presed the thanks of the students
for the hospitality of the Pythian
ladies. .
, E. E. Sharon, for many years
secretary of the Grand Lodge of the
I. O. O. P., was here from Portland
Friday and Saturday attending the
district convention and gran lodge
session of t.e order which met here.
Mr. Sharon is a veteran among Ore
gon Odd Fellows and perhaps en
joys a personal acquaintance with
moK members of the order than
any other man in the state.
