f OREEGON, you are hereby sum-
ned and required to appear and
answer the complaint tiled against
you in the above entitled Court and
cause on or before six weeks from
the date of first publication of this
summons, and you are hereby noti
fied that if you fall to so appear or
answer, for want thereof plaintiffs
will apply to the Court for the relief
prayed for in their complaint, viz. a
decree of said Court that you have no
right, title or interest in or to the
Northeast quarter of Section 14,
Township 5 Souh, Range 26 E. W. M.
and that you be forever debarred and
enjoined from setting up asserting or
maintaining any right title or interest
therein or thereto and that plain
tiffs' title to said lands be quieted as
against you.

by publication thereof once a week

Notice is hereby given that owing
to the limited supply of city water
during the dry season, the Council at
the regular meeting held June 7th
has adopted the following regulations
relating to the use of city water for
irrigation purposes. Beginning on
Monday, June 14th the city will be
divided into two districts, being
North and South of May street. The
district North of May street begin
ning on Monday, June 14th is per
mitted to use the city water on said
Monday and every other day there
after, and the district South of May
street on the alternate days. The
houre at which the water may be
used will be regulated by the Power
House whistle and all persons are
requested not to use the water for
irrigation purposes at any other time
and then they must have a nozzle or
sprinkler attached to their hose.
These regulations have been adop
ted for the benefit of all citizens, and
any person found using the city water
for irrigation purposes at any other
time or manner than above provided,
the water will be immediately cut off
from their premises.

of August, 1906, the said Martin An
derson died Interstate in Baid County,
ana tnat thereafter his estate was
duly administered upon In the Counr
ty Court of Morrow County, Oregon
and final settlement of the same duly
made therein on the 6th day of
April, 1908.
That the said Martin Anderson was
the person last seized of the said des
cribed real estate, and that the above
named defendant, Nancy M. Meek Is
the present occupant and in posses
sion of the same and claims to be the
owner thereof.
That the said Martin Anderson
died without heirs and left said real
property hereinbefore described es
cheated and vested in the State
Oregon, the plaintiff In this action.
WHEREFORE, Based upon said
application and Information filed
herein, it is hereby ORDERED, That
all persons Interested in said real
property appear in this Court and
cause on or before Wednesday the
16th day of June, 1920, and show
cause, If any they' have, why judg
ment should not be granted the
plaintiff as prayed for In said Infor
mation, to-wit: Adjudging that the
said real property hereinbefore des
cribed be escheated and the title
thereto vested In the state of Oregon,
that said real property be sold in the
manner provided by law; that out of
the proceeds arising from such sale
the costs and disbursements of this
proceeding be paid, together with the
costs of such sale, and that the re
mainder of the proceeds derived from
such sale bo paid over to the State
Treasurer of the State of Oregon.
It 13 further ORDERED, That this
order be published for a period of eix
weeks In the Heppner Herald, a
weekly newspaper of general circula
tion in Morrow County, Oregon, pub
lished at Heppner, Oregon.
Done and dated at Chambers, at
Pendleton, Umatilla County, Oregon,
this 29th day of April, 1920.
