Come right UiU way, have
gradual groarth. No boom to suffer
reaction. Come and mv.
According t the new charter the
city clctin will eome off on the
first Monday in December, which
will be on the 7th this year.
Those who own a frontage on the
Lebanon and Santiara canal, should
encourage the erection of a flouring
mill. Don't drive off this enter
prise with high priced sites.
It is said that if all the land on
this globe were equally divided
every inhabitant would have twen-ty-th
res acres. Smieofthe allot
ments however would be mighty
hard to work.
Lebanon is on the era of greater
prosperity than ever before in her
history. The Express has confi
dence Lebanon niukvng a city of
S'.KJO or more inhabitants. We
have the resources and advantages.
More e.Tort on the part of the citi
zens will accomplish the result.
The Lebanon canal is not appre
ciated as it should be by our citi-k-iis.
It is the most important
enterprise in our midst. It is tiie
ki-iis of our development; ii.on it
depends a flouring milt electric
plant and other industries. We
tpsst that it vt-iJl be pushed to an
es-riy cuniuletion.
