Home is a progressive town, many
new buildings being under construc

and all the accessories that go to make
up a flourishing village. The nest
stopping place for all travelers desire
inggood accommodation is owned by
Elder J. Shea, well known to the gen
eral traveling public as a most courte
ous and accommodating host. At this
place noted for its fine fruit, fresh milk
and most acceptable fresh vegetable,
good accommodations are found for
"mau and beast," and it is owing to
the exertions of the Elder that the
County roads is now in such a smooth
and excellent condition being free from
stump, the Cuyuae bridge is a safe
and substantial manner and the last
impropriation of $300 ban been used
in a most creditable mannar, in fact
the road is now as smooth and agree
able for travel as any vulley road,
thanks to th appropriation and well
directed exertions of road Suj t. Elder

nature has in this location proposed a
great sanitarian that no patent medi
cine or drug can equal. During the
past year anew spring has becu dis
covered, situated on the north side of
the river, and having a remarkable
strong volume of medicated water,
being considered superior to the other
and better known spring of the south
aide. For those who prefer to board,
good accommodations at reasonable
prices can be had at the hotel under
the management of the present lessee
Mr. WcMtfiilL who also has pasturage
or stable room for all stock. During
the past month the travel to tills resort
has been very large, aud at the present
there are a great many campers from
all parts of the state. , ,
