Parcel Post is Extended An important change in the regu­ lations relating to parcel post mat­ ter was announced by Postmaster Myers yesterday. The change makes ’ it- possible to mail books, old newspapers,'maga­ zines and. every thing classed as “miscellaneous reading matter,” in packages of ¡more than four pounds and up to 50 rounds, at parcel post rates. On pieces c" miscellaneous read­ ing matter weighing four pounds or less, the rate remains as at present, 1 cent for each two ounces or fraction, regardless of distance carried.
