Honored Couple Pass 50th

They have spent their entire mar
ried life in Scio, except for a few
years, during which they lived in
Woodburn and Salem. For twenty
years they owned and operated the
Scio hotel.

of several months. He was aged 73
years and had been a resident of Al«
bany for seven years. Mr. Hold-
ridge was a native Oregonian. He
was married to Mias Sarah Beard of
Scio on August 14. 1880. The wid
ow and four half brothers survive.
Funeral services were held at the

bany Tuesday afternoon and inter
ment was in the Masonic cemetery.
