The school board of District No.
95. composed of Mr*. J. F. Sims,
chairman; E. I). Myer* and Archie
Lindley, held a meeting Friday eve­
ning and transacted considerable
badness.
The main question to ssttle was
whether the district would meet the
outside competition for high school
students and pay transportation to
and from school. This question had
bi-en a burning one for the past two
or more years, and with the opening
but 17 days away, the school board
climbed onto the progressive wagon
and said "Yes, we will." and appro­
priated $3 per pupil per month for
transportation to all outside the dis­
trict. Prof. Watenpaugh is now
busy getting in touch with parents
and prospective pupils, and it is ex­
pected the largest enrollment in the
history of the school will result. A
wise move, we l-elieve, and the
school board should be congratulat-
