As the Stayton sawmill truck,
loaded with heavy lumber, u as
crossing the pontoon bridge near
Stayton Monday afternoon. the mid
dle span gave way and the rear uart
of the truck went down. Had there
not been long lumber on the truck,
which held the truck from tipping
over, the driver would have met
with serious injury. As it was. no
one was injure I. not even the truck.
